Sponsored by CWC, Agricultural Resource Center, Feminist Students United (FSU!), Student Environmental Action Center, & Internationalist Bookstore and Community Center.
Stella Marrs, equipped with only her scientist’s lab coat and a slide projector, will present a lecture addressing toxic chemicals and environmental regulations. Using an array of advertising imagery culled from collecting old magazines, Marrs presents a litany of ideas in a program that is timely, critical, and gripping. An artist from Olympia, Washington, who is most famous for her postcards describing various themes of social criticism, Marrs will also discuss the full array of her artwork at a lecture on Monday, March 24.
